The employees of HedoN are at the forefront of our organization’s success and the high-tech solutions we deliver for our clients. Our development team possesses multidisciplinary skills that enable us to realize precision electronics and induction technology within an efficient turnaround time. Supported by various back-office facilities, we work as one team to relieve our clients of the complexities involved in the development, production, and quality assurance of high-quality electronics, embedded software, and mechanics.
This core team is regularly supplemented by students from TU Delft and other technical universities of applied sciences and vocational schools. Often, they work flexibly and part-time at HedoN during their studies, applying their education directly in practice. For our assembly work, we also collaborate with the workforce from the vocational training company Werkse! in Delft, thereby helping people with barriers to employment find work.
Focus on quality at favorable total cost
We continuously look for opportunities to improve our products and services on all fronts, from preparation and procurement to production and logistics. This way, we keep the total costs well under control for our clients, with quality always being our number 1, 2, and 3 priority. The quality level is monitored at every stage of development by qualified staff, using test tools developed in-house. Our team also possesses extensive knowledge of global product certification and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Developing and retaining technical talent
Our employees are the most important success factors in our collaboration with clients. We are proud that technical talent has been joining us for many years. New colleagues who join HedoN are given the space to learn, grow, take initiative, and even make mistakes. It’s no coincidence that Smart Industry has recognized us as a role model for learning organizations.
HedoN views the training of skilled professionals and the sharing of knowledge as a social responsibility and an important investment. It is a side activity from which we, as an organization, derive great satisfaction and enjoyment. We have therefore been recognized by SBB as an accredited training company and offer various internship opportunities, ranging from exploratory internships to graduation projects. Additionally, we employ students who follow dual study programs or have flexible part-time jobs with us alongside their studies, giving them ample exposure to technology.
Entrepreneurship in a sustainable environment
Sustainable entrepreneurship is an important and current societal theme that impacts all levels of society, the living environment, and the well-being of our planet. We at HedoN are also very aware of our responsibility. That is why we continuously assess our contribution to more sustainable production and transportation processes, with a strong focus on the high quality and robustness of our products, which helps reduce waste.
We also make an impact in our immediate environment with an energy-efficient and environmentally conscious workplace by using solar panels, excellent insulation in our company building, and reusable crates in our production lines.
