An easy to use for the end user yet highly advanced motor controller for DC motors. The motor control is provided by HedoN with the correct internal software on the basis of the motor and functionality desired by the customer. For the end customer, this provides a plug and play motor control.

DC electric motors are used in many applications. Think, for example, of electrically operated chairs, desks, garage doors, swimming pool covers, awnings and in many industrial applications.

- The motor control works with a supply voltage of 10 to 40 volts.
- Motor current to 30 amps continuously.
- The motor current is adjustable and can be limited to lower values.
- The motor speed is adjustable and can be dynamically controlled. There is a control that actively ensures that the motor maintains a constant speed regardless of the load.
- The motor can gradually start up and slow down (adjustable rate). This limits wear of mechanical parts and limits the inrush current.
- The motor control is active and allows the motor to maintain a constant speed regardless of the load.
- The motor control can limit the torque delivered
- There are braking resistors to be able to process braking energy.
Interfaces:
- 6 general-purpose inputs. These can be used freely according to the requirements of the customer and used to make the motor do something. For example: end stop sensors for the doors, emergency stop, door open button, etcetera.
- 2 analog general-purpose inputs. These are also free and use and can read an analog voltage between 0 and 2.5 volts. For example: a motor speed adjustment potentiometer.
- A quadrature encoder input.
