Collaboration with iDtools
iDtools, founded in 2013, operates globally in the sales of induction tools. In collaboration with HedoN and industrial design agency Flex from Delft, iDtools developed the iDuctor—an innovative solution for inductively heating seized nuts, enabling efficient and non-destructive loosening techniques.
A major advancement came in 2018 with the development of the iDuctor Power Plus. This new version delivers nearly twice the power within the same housing. The unique tool has received international recognition, including the ‘IF Product Design Award’ in 2013, the ‘Good Industrial Design Award’ in 2014, and the Innovation Award at Automechanika in 2018. Recently, a 110V version was developed that is CSA/UL certified for markets including the United States, Canada, Japan, and offshore applications.

Fast and efficient heating with inductive tools from iDtools
The powerful iDuctor (1,200 watts) and iDuctor Power Plus (2,300 watts) inductive tools quickly heat seized nuts, allowing technicians to loosen them with ease. Their ergonomic design makes them user-friendly and suitable for harsh environments. These tools are widely used across sectors such as automotive, marine, petrochemical, infrastructure, and aerospace.
Thanks to robust, high-quality electronics protected against current, voltage, and temperature fluctuations, the tools are safe and extremely reliable. Additionally, the patented clamping mechanism prevents overheating and melting of contact points, even at currents up to 150 amps.
